The collar receiver features just the right low level correction that's perfect for small dogs. It allows for 4 levels of correction (low - medium - medium high - high) from the transmitter, as well as two tone only controls to provide audible stimulation to your dog. It uses long-life, user-replaceable 3-volt lithium batteries (included) that are readily available at your local drugstore. This system also features a training DVD that explains how to use the collar to reinforce your commands.
